Your (space) mission
As a Junior Facility Manager at cosine, you play an important role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our high-tech facilities where space technology is developed. You are the day-to-day point of contact for facility-related matters and work closely with the Head of Facility to support and improve the infrastructure that enables our engineers to develop advanced space instruments.
An important part of your role involves managing and maintaining our technical building installations, including HVAC systems that support our cleanroom environments. While you are not responsible for the cleanroom processes themselves, you will work in close proximity to these highly controlled environments that are essential to the production of space technology.
Your profile
You have the following qualifications:
- MBO+/Bachelor’s level working and thinking ability, preferably in Facility Management, Engineering, or Building Management
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a technical facility or building management environment is considered an advantage
- Affinity with HVAC systems and complex technical installations
- Interest in high-tech environments such as cleanroom-based production or R&D facilities
- Strong sense of responsibility regarding safety, compliance, and continuity (VCA certification is a plus)
- Proactive, hands-on attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Good command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken
- Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with both internal teams and external stakeholders
